Theological Quandaries
The lore surrounding Heaven and Hell—what’s actually there, what life is like—is as fantastical as the imagination allows. There’s obviously no proof or evidence either place exists; Even the descriptions in the bible remain enormously anemic. Nevertheless, let’s review what they are before unpacking the ultimate reward for a Christian, likewise, damnation for a non-believer.
The bible (depending on which version and translation) mentions the word, Heaven, between four to five hundred times. However, not all of them actually refer to the place Christians “go to” when they die. Biblically speaking, there are three heavens.
